Protz is a prolific writer and journalist who edit's CAMRA's national newspaper What's Brewing. Many of the recipes in this book are the result of his travels in Britain and Europe, his unrivalled knowledge of brewing and beer styles, and his ability to obtain once closely-guarded recipes. He co-operated with Wheeler on their previous book, Brew Your Own Real Ale at Home. they are now passing on their deep knowledge and understanding of world classic beers to enable you to brew them and enjoy them at home.
